Astrology as a Pathway for Performance
Synopsis:
An exploration of performance as the intersection of spirituality, psychological embodiment, and societal conditions. This essay showcases astrology as a guide for how to perform authentically.
Playwriting
I am a Latina playwright born and raised in Chicago. I graduated Boston University under the playwriting guidance of Kirsten Greenidge. I create stories that stir my blood and tug at my heartstrings. My hope is that a part of these stories connect with some part of the audience’s mind, body or soul and hopefully all three.
Will and Rose

Synopsis:
As their world is crumbling and untrustworthy governments are rising before their eyes, two friends find themselves in a battle of artistry. Rose, a firm believer of art as activism, tries to convince Will that his mastery of language is more powerful with a direct message. Will finds that the way to survive is to work from within and to (perhaps more importantly) tell tales of love. Inspired by William Shakespeare’s form of writing and his works with Rosaline/Rosalind.
The Boy and The Darkness

A force called The Darkness has taken over the land and stolen the light of night. There is a hero, The Boy, who is our only hope. If he accepts his quest, defeats the bedbugs and overthrows the darkness then perhaps there will be light again, perhaps he will fulfill his destiny.

Synopsis:
A woman recalls the story of the Otherwoman who lived in her childhood village. In the mist of this story other voices appear. These voices of mothers, women, children, locas and even men speak in the language of memory. A language that is passed down but is hard to understand and very rarely listened to. The memories feel like a dream. A dream filled with music, movement and images that are desperately grasping for some kind of understanding. The dream is a collective consciousness of nameless people.

A Chemical Imbalanced

Synopsis:
A warning signal has been flared in our theatrical laboratory. Our student/subject B appears to have a chemical imbalance. B is not acting like the others and is certainly not acting like our controlled subject/student A. We must go through a series of trails headed by the Doctor and the Professor to discover the cause and solution to this unbalanced equation.
